For 13 years, Maria dedicated her entire artistic practice to the creation of Aricama. This spiritual/sci-fi universe developed in New York through puppet play productions and musicals with support from The Jim Henson Foundation, Womens Media and Music, and NY Cultural Affairs, and more. A new culture is born through comics, coloring books, spiritual clothing, a light language, and now a 13-Month Body Calendar. Since 2020, Maria’s Introspective Hypnosis upgraded Aricama to make the body the happiest place on earth. Currently, Maria is an active member of the puppet community in NYC performing in Arias with a Twist this Fall.
